Welcome to Bernal Explorers — a nature-rooted toddler program and growing community of young families in Bernal Heights. Founded by two Waldorf early childhood teachers and two families, we’ve created a nurturing space where children thrive through outdoor play, gentle rhythms, nourishing meals, and storytelling. Together, we honor the sacred early years of parenting by building intentional community, sharing support, and holding space for each other and our little ones.
As young families we have come to see this time in the early years of parenting and the first few years of a child’s life as so precious, tender and open. We know we want to be able to be in community with other families and create a space to hold and honor this time and learn from and support each other.
We are growing a community of families with young children and opening a sweet space for us to meet in, to bring in the services and resources we need to grow and nourish our young families.
Creating intentional community and a curated space to hold and honor the child and our sacred task as parents is our mission.
